WHAT IS ELEVATION?

about

ELEVATION is the best weekend of our year! Students in grades 6-12 take over Cedarcrest Church from Friday night to Sunday morning. During the roughly 40 hours we are together, students will be given a chance to connect with old friends, develop new friends, engage in conversations with leaders as well as others in their group, and most importantly encounter GOD!

  • In 3 different sessions we will sing together, learn together, and have fun together.
  • In 3 different small group settings we will break down each of the main sessions, talk about what God is doing in our lives, and engage in discussions around how we can grow deeper in our relationship with God as a middle or high school student.
  • Throughout the 40 hours together we will engage in different competitions from stage games, to group challenges. From physical games to mental puzzles and everything in between.
  • Friday and Saturday night students and their leaders will have the greatest sleepover of the year at someone else’s house. Thoroughly vetted homes in our community will open their doors and invite students in with the rest of the students in their group to continue the fun and conversations.

So, really, what is ELEVATION?

ELEVATION is a weekend retreat for students to disconnect from the regular rhythms of their life, and connect with the God who loves them more than they will ever know. It’s a time for students to invite other students they interact with on a daily / weekly basis to hear the good news of Jesus Christ, possibly for the first time.
