Cedarcrest Church partners with and support many organizations, churches and ministries across the county, state, country and world in an effort to reach more people with the love of Jesus Christ.
In an effort to take Cedarcrest Church’s purpose to Love God and Love People across the world, we have set up partnerships and investments with various countries, organizations and ministries. The following global partners are our primary venues for reaching others for Christ across the world:
Compassion International – Members of Cedarcrest Church sponsor more than 140 children in Uganda, Haiti and other regions of the world. Haiti – We contribute financially to help restore Haiti through the efforts of Compassion International and Samaritan’s Purse. We will be sending teams to help rebuild and minister to the people of Haiti as soon as the logistics can be established.
Lottie Moon – a cooperative giving program of churches throughout the US that supports the efforts of international missionaries.
We have established partnerships with the two churches listed below in an effort to bring the love of Christ to the people of the areas they serve. We send teams from Cedarcrest to these two areas yearly on mission trips.
First Baptist Church, San Isidro, Texas – A church, located in South Texas, that we partner with to send youth and men’s trips to minister in one of the poorest regions in all of the U.S.
South Bay Church – A church plant located in Santa Clara, CA, the heart of the Silicon Valley
Easter Egg Hunt – our largest community event, sponsored by the Children’s Ministry, that features activity booths and a 40,000 Easter Egg Hunt. This year’s event will be held on April 3 on the fields of Allatoona High School. Click here for more info!
VBS – our Children’s Ministry sponsors an incredible week of activity for children that exposes them to the truths of God’s Word in a fun, high energy and life changing environment.
Thanksgiving Outreach – a ministry to local families in need providing them with a Thanksgiving meal that they otherwise would not have. Last year we sponsored over 60 families.
The Giving Tree – our annual Christmas Outreach that provides local families in need that otherwise would not have anything at Christmas. Last year we sponsored more than 120 children.
Engage Atlanta – an association of churches in Paulding and Cobb County that exposes people in need, or crisis, to the tangible love of Christ through meeting their physical needs.
Vision Atlanta – a ministry dedicated to changing the lives of youth at risk by providing them with a culturally relevant camp experience and connecting them with mentors who invest in their lives throughout the year.
Young Life, Cobb County – a ministry to that exposes students to the love of God in a manner that is fun and relevant to high school students.
